As a Marketing Operations Systems Analyst, you will help deploy and maintain scalable combinations of people, process, and technology to enable best practices in campaign planning, marketing execution, lead generation, segmentation, and data management. You will be expected to write detailed technical documentation, troubleshoot issues, and continuously enhance our marketing infrastructure to support marketers'' conversion goals. The right candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and with various levels of involvement across stakeholders in our globally diverse company.

This role will be part of the Conversion Operations team and will manage the health and evolution of Red Hat''s core marketing automation platforms to support the demands of global marketing and sales.
Responsibilities
* Describe how each component of our marketing technology works and why
* Develop a multi-year roadmap, and a prioritized backlog of feature enhancements, in order to continuously improve our marketing systems for our marketers
* Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems focused on in-person and online events
* Establish standard processes and reports in order to actively monitor performance and identify opportunities to optimize system efficacy and stability
* Publish insights and best practices to educate power users and internal stakeholders about how to properly use our marketing systems to meet their marketing goals
* Lead efficient meetings, explain data and technical details to non-technical audiences, and balance collaboration with getting-things-done
* Develop detailed technical documentation, including, but not limited to: user stories, data-flow diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams, user guides, test cases, and blog posts
Requirements
* Experience with API integration platforms like Tray.io, Zapier, or others
* Basic HTML knowledge and experience with various CRM, CMS, and marketing automation systems (e.g., Eloqua, Marketo, Salesforce.com, Drupal, Hubspot, etc)
* Advanced understanding of marketing data models and event automation systems
* Experience using and supporting both event and marketing automation platforms for registration, landing page, email notifications, on-site check-in, session scanning, database integration, etc
* Knowledge of how marketing metrics translate to conversion data and how that data passes into a database and/or corresponding CRM system (e.g., Salesforce.com)
* Comfort managing multiple projects across vendor and agency resources in order to problem solve within accelerated timelines
* Great problem solver, ability to learn independently, and work in an ambiguous environment
* Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, in a fast-paced environment, across time zones and with different cultures
* 3-5 years of work experience and BA/BS in related field
