SuccessFactors Employee Central Implementation/SuccessFactor Test Lead
Location: Denver, CO
Duration: 06+ Months

The Test Lead will lead and actively participate in test planning, preparation, execution, and stat using as detailed below. The Test Lead will represent client in providing the following services to the project:
Work in collaboration with project stakeholders to review the already developed Employee Central Test Strategy; refine as needed as the team moves closer into Phase 4: Project Execution.
Develop a more granular level of testing scope and estimate the effort of testing to be completed; work alongside the Project Manager to acquire necessary resources. Obtain stakeholder sign-off.
Work with project manager to identify key milestones related to testing and incorporate into the overall project plan.
Prepare test plan (mapping of requirements to test cases) and review with EC Project Manager, Newmont QA Manager and HR IT Engagement Manager for approval.
Define granular testing schedule as an input for overall project schedule.
Lead, guide, monitor and actively participate in the development of test cases and test procedures.
Collaborate with business to write test scripts
Setup of HP-ALM in preparation of testing cycles.
Train testers in HP-ALM use.
Execute testing and quality control procedures; ensure proper configuration management of test ware (ie version of test cases) is produced and traceability to requirements.
Validate all entry criteria is complete prior to starting a test cycle.
Manage project testing cycles and reports daily status to Project Manager, core project team and stakeholders.
Schedule tests for execution, monitor/measure, and control.
Manage Defect lifecycle (inception to closure
Contribute to project risk assessment as it relates to Testing.
Meet regularly with QA Manager to stay aligned on QA policies & procedures.
Aligns and information’s Testing Lead from APEX Program
Serve as point of escalation to resolve any open decisions or obstacles related to the above-mentioned areas.
Document lessons learned at the end of the testing cycle.
Operates in an Agile/Hybrid Model.
Drives issue resolution at all levels and escalate as necessary.
Ensures involvement of participants in order to meet deadlines.
Provides input into the overall project status report with input from team in conformance with PMO requirements.
Experienced in collaborating with teams on a more complex project or program decisions across multiple areas, evaluating tradeoffs and providing options and recommendations to senior executives.


Proven track record with successfully leading global implementations
Has knowledge and experience of testing principles and practices to fit the needs of the Employee Central project.
Has knowledge of test case writing and execution in addition to experience leading a test team; is happy to participate in all aspects of testing and not simply leading or managing.
Works cooperatively with IT, Business functions, and multiple 3rd party providers to achieve common objectives.
Experienced working with tester and users in a global environment.
Leads by example and is a proactive agent of change, has conflict resolution and risk management experience.
Great communication and presentation skills.
A demonstrated passion for customer service.
Previous experience leading a SuccessFactors Employee Central and/ or other Talent Modules Implementation.
Preferred previous experience testing SAP ECC Implementations or complex upgrades.
Experience testing and leading the testing of cloud software applications.
