Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Workload Auto/Tivoli-Control M Backend Job Specialist to join our team for a 6-month contract-to-hire position at the Virginia Information Technology Agency (VITA). This hybrid role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to critical IT operations, providing backend job scheduling expertise using Tivoli and AutoSys platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage backend job scheduling and automation using Tivoli and AutoSys systems.

• Monitor and troubleshoot workload automation processes, ensuring smooth and reliable execution.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business requirements and system performance.

• Provide technical support for job scheduling tasks, including analysis, debugging, and resolution of issues.

• Document technical procedures, workflows, and troubleshooting guides for internal teams.

• Perform system checks and generate reports to ensure the integrity and performance of the job scheduling environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in workload automation, specifically with Tivoli and/or AutoSys tools.

• Technical Skills: In-depth understanding of job scheduling systems and backend automation processes.

• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex scheduling issues.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
