Role Overview

The client is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant to support ZOLL’s Finance transformation initiatives. This consultant will lead the functional design, configuration, implementation, and support of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials modules.

You will work directly with finance, accounting, controllership, IT, and business stakeholders to optimize financial processes, align system capabilities with business needs, and guide the full implementation lifecycle—from requirements gathering to post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Design & Configuration

• Lead business requirements workshops with finance, accounting, and business operations teams to define current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) financial processes.

• Perform fit/gap analysis between business requirements and Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials capabilities.

• Design and document functional design specifications, process flows, and configurations.

• Configure Oracle Fusion modules including:

  • General Ledger (GL)

  • Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Fixed Assets (FA)

  • Cash Management

  • Sub-ledger Accounting (SLA)

Testing & Data Migration

• Develop and execute unit testing, SIT, and UAT.

• Collaborate with data migration teams to load, convert, and validate legacy financial data (HDL, FBDI, etc.).

Implementation Leadership

• Support change management, develop training materials, and conduct end-user training sessions.

• Lead cutover planning, including month-end/quarter-end close coordination.

• Provide go-live and post-production functional support.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with technical teams (integration, reporting, BI, security) to ensure end-to-end solution integrity.

• Stay current on Oracle Fusion releases, new features, and industry best practices, and guide adoption where appropriate.

• Serve in a consulting-oriented capacity with strong client-facing communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (MBA a plus).

• 5–10 years of hands-on functional experience implementing Oracle EBS/Oracle Cloud Financials.

• Deep expertise in Oracle Financial modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, and SLA.

• Proven experience leading full lifecycle implementations (requirements → design → configuration → testing → go-live → support).

• Strong understanding of finance business processes:

  • Month-end/quarter-end close

  • Accounting and consolidations

  • Ledger and reporting structures

• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead workshops and translate requirements into functional solutions.

• Ability to support US-based clients and adapt to time zone/travel requirements if needed.

• US work authorization (USC/GC) required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical devices, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing environments.

• Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials certification.

• Experience with Finance integrations (SCM, Projects, Revenue Management, etc.).

• Experience with financial data migration tools (HDL, FBDI).

• Background in leading training and organizational change management for finance teams.

• Understanding of global finance processes: multi-currency, multi-ledger, multi-GAAP.
