Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join its Business Integrated Solutions Division (BISD), supporting the Business Analytics and Testing Support Team. This role requires a proactive professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The selected candidate will serve as the voice of the customer throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring business needs are accurately understood, translated, and delivered. The position involves working in both Agile and Waterfall environments and requires demonstrated experience in business process modeling, data analysis, and user story development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and goals.

• Advocate for end-users by deeply understanding business processes, identifying pain points, and driving user-centric solutions.

• Conduct root cause analysis to uncover system inefficiencies or process issues requiring business, technical, or hybrid resolutions.

• Develop comprehensive process documentation including process maps (BPMN 2.0), data flow diagrams, and context diagrams.

• Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Translate traditional business requirements into Agile artifacts such as Epics, Features, and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate with product owners to groom and prioritize product and sprint backlogs.

• Align user stories with technical designs and system enhancements to ensure development meets business needs.

• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with business stakeholders to validate delivered solutions.

• Support quality assurance efforts by defining test plans, writing test cases, and executing various types of testing, including regression testing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in business and systems analysis, with a focus on customer-driven deliverables.

• 5+ years as an Agile Business Analyst, with a deep understanding of Scrum methodologies.

• Strong background in data analysis and data management, including SQL and relational databases.

• Proven ability to define acceptance criteria and ensure alignment with business needs.

• Demonstrated experience with tools such as Azure DevOps and/or Jira.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Project).

• Experience working with data-focused platforms, including data warehouses, data lakes, and reporting systems.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to engage diverse teams and clearly articulate complex information.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)

• PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis)

• PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner)

• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., TestComplete, Cucumber, Selenium)

• Familiarity with agile metrics and reporting using Azure DevOps or Jira

• Knowledge of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) 2.0
