SR. GCP Architect Memphis, Tennessee(Remote) 2+ Months We are currently seeking a Remote Senior Cloud Architect to help build, define and reinvent Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS/PaaS) utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for a large automotive retailer. This is an exciting opportunity for you to help enhance and customize the existing GCP landing zone and influence best practices and standards within the organization. What you will do? Architect and design the Google Cloud foundation and platform for developers and engineers to operate. Enhance the existing landing zone, making strategic changes and setting the organization up for success. You are the Cloud SME on this team influencing change, standardization, governance and security. Not only will you be the master mind behind the design but also helping to mentor, coach, and guide existing team members on how the cloud should operate moving forward. The expertise you will have: 10+ years of overall industry experience Solid experience integrating cloud platforms utilizing GCP 1-2 projects implementing Google Cloud Platform into an organization. Experience with Google Cloud Platform Services Including: o Compute Systems on Google Cloud (Compute Engine, App Engine, Container Engine) o Google Cloud Storage Systems (Objects, Files, RDBMS, NoSQL) o Security and IAM (Identity and Access Management) on GCP o Monitoring, Logging, Debugging and Tracing on Google Cloud Platform o Cloud computing concepts like Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), DNS, CDN, Load Balancing and Auto Scaling. Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform Understanding of best practices utilized within DevOps, Containerization and Automation Technical Environment: GCP BigData | BI Google Anthos GKE GCP Deployment Manager Cloud SQL / Spanner Dataproc, BigQuery etc. Stateful services like Kafka and Elasticsearch Oracle PCF Tomcat Legacy workloads CRM/PeopleSoft Kubernetes Ansible
