Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst with re-insurance industry experience to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This long-term contract position (contract to hire) is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a solid background in financial analysis, particularly within the insurance sector. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed financial analyses to support decision-making processes within the insurance sectors.

• Collaborate with clients, reinsurers, and internal teams to maintain effective and clear communication.

• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel and Hyperion tools to compile, analyze, and report financial data.

• Manage and prioritize workload to meet contractual obligations and deadlines efficiently.

• Analyze reinsurance treaties and contracts to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

• Apply strong organizational skills to oversee budgeting processes, capital management, and auditing activities.

• Leverage knowledge of health and special risk reinsurance practices to inform strategic initiatives.

• Work with data mining techniques and reporting tools such as Crystal Reports to extract and present actionable insights.

• Contribute to the improvement of financial operations by identifying process enhancements and implementing best practices.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE past re-insurance experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

• Over 10 years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on life, health, or property and casualty insurance.

• Strong understanding of insurance concepts.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and competency in Hyperion.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
