Sr. Cloud Database Migration Expert
REMOTE location
3 6 Months contract
Must Have s:
* Hands-on RDS to Aurora PostgreSQL migration Experience for high-performance environment
* Hands-on Expertise with DB Migration tools in the priority order: DMS, SCT, Cloud Endure, Oracle GoldenGate, Datapump
* Hands-on Performance Tuning Experience for Aurora PostgreSQL
* AWS Database Specialty Certification is a big plus
Job Requirement:
* Analyze database RDS environment
* Consult for optimal design of database environments and making recommendations to optimize performance.
* Best practices and evaluate if Aurora is a fit for the customer.
* Teach the client the process of the evaluation so they can be involved or do it in the future.
* Work with customers to migrate their database environments from RDS Aurora/PostgreSQL
* Advanced performance tuning, security and operations monitoring
* Hands-on Expertise : DMS, SCT, Cloud Endure, Oracle GoldenGate, Datapump
* Good communication and documentation skills
