Job Description :

The Day-to-Day:

Manage daily DB Administration activities and installation and configuration of SQL servers
Configure and monitor log shipping/Mirroring/AlwaysOn/Clustering
Set up and managing SQL replication
Install, configure, and manage SQL clusters
Take backups and restores
Write good T-SQL code and do code reviews
Performance Tuning and problem resolution
Code migration among different environments
Implement DB security
Support DB environment and participate in on-call rotation
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in SQL 2012/2016/2019 development and administration
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science, math, or other science field, or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Good knowledge in SSIS and SSRS
- In-depth understanding of SQL architecture
- Experience with replication topologies and components
- Expert knowledge in SQL clustering and availability groups
- Logical and physical design experience
- Experience in both OLTP and Data warehousing environments
- Good experience implementing operational automation through SQL tools and PowerShell
- Good experience with cloud migration tasks (Azure)
