Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role located in Gaithersburg, MD with some work from home flexibility. The SQL DBA Lead will be responsible for day-to-day database administration tasks, including troubleshooting and replication, as well as designing databases. The SQL DBA Lead will also oversee a team of database administrators.

Qualifications

Database Administration and Database Design skills
Experience with Troubleshooting and Replication
Strong knowledge of Databases
Experience managing a team of database administrators
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases is a plus
Relevant certifications such as MCSE: Data Management and Analytics or Oracle Certified Professional, MySQL 5.7 Database Administrator are a plus
