Solution Architect – Responsibilities
Understand data management concepts including structured/unstructured data, batch/real-time integrations, data/process modeling.
Produces data flow diagrams and conceptual level data models.
Contributes to the establishment of data management strategies, principles, models, and standards.
Build relationships with internal customers and partners to understand their needs, priorities, roadmap, and definition of success.
Drive the technical evaluation and formulate the technology roadmap of technologies and vendor solutions including industry trends and best practices.
Develop and communicate system and solution documentation intended for both business and technical audiences.
Design data models to support current and long-term business needs.
Design and develop proof-of-concepts, prototypes, reference architectures, and implementations as needed to support the technical planning of platform and business projects.
Drive integration strategy for corporate systems and applications.
Provide technical oversight of platform improvements and business projects.
Partner with other technical architects, platform leadership, business partners, as well as functional leads in areas such as Security, Privacy, IT Compliance, Business Intelligence, and Data Governance to ensure the platform capabilities are meeting the needs and standards of diverse stakeholders.
Solution Architect – Mandatory Skills
15 years experience in the development and implementation of software or information technology systems.
5 years experience as a Data Architect or Data Analyst.
Well equipped with Modern real time or batch data ingestion, processing and distribution patterns & architectures.
Strong prior experience of developing or supporting Big Data initiatives.
Hands-on experience with popular SQL, NoSQL databases.
Ability to translate strategic business objectives and needs to platform and project requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
Master s/Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
