About the Role
We are is looking for an experienced, talented campaign copywriter who excels at advertising and social media campaign ideation and execution. This role is responsible for finding new and impactful ways to communicate our mission of giving folks the tools, insights and people to transform their ideas and personal initiative into success. This contract position is on our Brand team and reports to the Brand Writing Manager.
You’ll co-create and develop campaigns with an Art Director, including consumer-facing social media posts (on multiple platforms) and campaign stories through a broad spectrum of advertising, brand strategy, digital engagement and product presentation. We want a creative individual who lives to see an idea come to life — from The Big Idea, down to the details — not someone who sits back once the copy is written and thinks, “job done.”
Ideally, you bring a strong combination of deep expertise in the creative demands of developing effective and on-brand messaging for a global brand with a proven track record of being able to work within the structures of real world corporate environment, albeit a fully distanced one, for the time being. A demonstrated ability to thrive under both creative and deadline pressures is essential, as is the ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once.
That is, you are unflappable under pressure, balancing brand savvy and exceptional creative expression skills, and you know how to partner with the other creative and business leaders within the company. You possess a deep understanding of and appreciation for the written word and have a passion for the hearts and minds of small businesses.

Responsibilities
Actively participate in the ideation phase of campaign brainstorming, ensuring the best ideas bubble up
Create and deliver pitches of integrated advertising and social campaign concepts that accomplish business objectives
Distill complex and technical concepts into concise, clear messaging
Write and edit clever, creative copy that employs the perfect tone while maintaining our overarching brand voice
Write and edit on-brand scripts for online video (OLV) ads for integrated campaigns that generate impressions and drive viewer action
Write miscellaneous other copy – internal, recruiting, etc., as needed
Collaborate with both fellow brand creatives and outside-the-team stakeholders
Build relationships and seek out opportunities to connect across the company to combine, align and amplify efforts
Prioritize multiple projects and manage competing deadlines
Share work with fellow brand creatives and other company writers, take critique in stride and provide relevant feedback on others’ work
Maintain and refresh current best practices and methodologies and effectively communicate industry trends and techniques

Qualifications
5+ years of related experience, with a background in writing copy for ad and social campaigns that deliver on business objectives
Excellent creativity in conceptualizing unique and memorable integrated campaign ideas that strengthen our brand and advance our mission
Excellent communication skills
Ability to craft and deliver compelling presentations that sell ideas and expand relationships
Ability to link creative to strategy and client objectives
Passion for creating superior customer experiences, no matter the job title
International market campaign writing experience is a plus.
