As a Power BI developer, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. You will play an important end-to-end role from gathering requirements, creating the high-level design artifacts, personally delivering high quality technical deliverables, integrating upstream systems to provide curated data to downstream data visualization tools, validating technical solutions vs. business requirements, and providing support activities related to implementation, deployment, knowledge transition, and warranty.

Required Qualifications:

Significant hands-on experience (3+ years) using Microsoft Power BI to create reports, visualizations, and interactive dashboards.
Deep experience (5+ years) working in data warehouse, business intelligence and data visualization (tabular, multidimensional) and related technologies and tools.
Deep hands-on experience (5+ years) in Microsoft SQL environments writing complex, highly optimized, highly-performant queries and stored procedures fetching large volumes of data across various data repository designs.
Direct experience extracting and curating data sourced from unstructured data repositories or data lakes.
Keen understanding of data models, SQL, ETL, and structured data warehousing processes.
Proven ability to acquire, refine and translate business requirements into appropriate technical solutions.
Clear evidence of having delivered at least one (1) full end-to-end “source system to Power BI output” implementation.
Must be located within USA (Pacific Time Zone preferred

Experience in creating T-SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views and Exception handling for retrieving, manipulating, checking, and migrating complex data sets will be useful.
Experience coding in C#, .Net, writing SSIS Packages, and leveraging Web APIs.
Experience in Microsoft Power BI connection types, including Oracle direct, Azure SQL data warehouse, and ODBC and configurations and data flows.
Experience working with Azure Services, Azure SQL, ADL, ADF, and/or Azure Analysis Services.
Experience in administering Power BI permissions, roles, and security and securing data layers based on specific identifiers, including role or agency.
Applying advanced analytics to large data sets.
Experience with batch and real-time data processing.
Experience with data and database integration techniques, including data modeling and data normalization.
Experience in data analysis and data warehousing for performance in Power BI.
Experience working in Agile teams, working independently with Business stakeholders, and providing regular solution updates.
Experience working with Jira, Jira Align, qTest, or similar Agile management application.
Experience with using secure code storage systems like TFS or GitHub.

Qualification:

Bachelor''s degree in relevant field.
