Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, a related specialized area or field is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

The Senior Networking IPT Engineer is an important link between our Customers and engineering teams to define concept of operations, architectures, and requirements for our ground-based systems. He or she then applies the system engineering process to design, integrate, test and deliver the system.

What you bring to the table:
A Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, a related specialized area or field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; Agile experience preferred
Strong knowledge of systems engineering concepts, principles and theories
Strong proficiency with requirements management & system modeling tools
Specific Skills needed for this role:
Experience as a Group or IPT Lead on a development program to include skills in team leadership, cost management, earned value management
Familiarity with Network and System Infrastructure design using commodity servers, workstations, switches, routers and firewalls
Working knowledge of signal processing concepts to fulfill a role as a vendor technical POC for a signal processing subcontract
Demonstrated successes in applying the system engineering process for product specification, design, development, integration, test and delivery
Ability to support other teams of software, hardware and system engineers to define and test interfaces, perform I&T and verification testing
