Description of Job Duties:
CPA currently is expanding its GIS technology platform. The Worker, GIS Developer, will be responsible for analyzing, developing, validating and deploying a GIS solution for revenue collection divisions. Develops geographic information systems that may link parcel maps with financial data and other data to produce maps and quantify information about the impacts of features on parcel ownership.
The Worker must have extensive knowledge and comfort performing the following:
Understanding of ArcGIS Enterprise Server and how to create and manage ArcGIS web services
Integrating with standard geo formats such as KML, Shapefiles or GeoRSS,
ArcGIS software, technologies and API’s
Creating output to predefined database tables
Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
10 Analyzing geographic information systems and procedures; to read and interpret surveys, legal descriptions, cartography, engineering documents, construction plans, aerial photography and orthophotography
5 Experience designing, developing, and deploying GIS Solutions.
5 Designing effective and aesthetic web pages to deliver interactive, data driven GIS applications with a focus on usability.
5 Planning, organizing and prioritizing multiple assignments to effectively manage a fast paced and changing work environment without compromising accuracy.
5 Consistently meet internal and external customer needs and expectations in a professional manner.
5 Experience transposing physical maps into digital shapefiles.
5 Experience developing, configuring, and deploying ArcGIS Enterprise server solutions.
5 Extensive experience with highly complex security application requirements
1 Experience in the most recent versions of ArcGIS Enterprise.
Preferred:
Years Skills/Experience
5 Experience with PL/SQL, SQL, Python and Esri JavaScript API programming languages.
3 Experience with State of Texas MSA, County, and city
3 GISP GIS certifications
3 Proficient with the Microsoft Office products, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Visio, Excel.
3 Familiar utilizing Atlassian products Jira and Confluence.
2 Competent working an Agile development methodology, attending daily standups, delivering sprint objectives.
1 Experience deploying ArcGIS Enterprise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment or Azure cloud environment.
