Title : Senior Front End developer[ 14+ years of experience]
Location: San Leandro, CA
Pay Rate: 55 to 60 $/ hour ON W2.
Duration: 12 Months 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  1. Continuous Development: Continuously develop and implement new features for the public website using the latest version of React (React 17) and leveraging React Hooks for efficient state management and component lifecycle management.

  2. Component Maintenance: Create, update, and maintain various page components to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience across the website. This involves refining existing components for better performance and usability.

  3. Code Review and Mentorship: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and consistency within the codebase. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers to foster their growth and improve overall team proficiency.

  4. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional Scrum teams throughout the development lifecycle. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and effective communication within the team.

  5. Deployment Optimization: Work on improving deployment processes to ensure efficient and smooth releases of new features and updates. This may involve automating deployment pipelines, implementing CI/CD practices, and optimizing build and release workflows.

Required Skills:

  1. Extensive Front-end Experience: Possess 12+ years of hands-on experience in front-end web development, demonstrating a deep understanding of web technologies, standards, and best practices.

  2. JavaScript Mastery: Proficient in JavaScript, including ES6+ features, with a strong emphasis on writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

  3. ReactJS Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in ReactJS, including strong proficiency in building complex UIs, managing state using React Hooks, and leveraging the latest features and patterns in React development.

  4. Microfrontends Knowledge: Familiarity with Microfrontends architecture and principles, understanding how to design and develop modular, scalable front-end systems composed of loosely coupled micro-applications.

  5. Agile Environment Experience: Experienced in working in a mature Agile environment, with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.

  6. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions efficiently.

  7. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

  8. Deployment and Release Management: Experience in deployment and release management, including familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), deployment tools, and continuous integration/delivery practices.

  9. Adaptability and Learning Agility: Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies as needed to meet project requirements and industry trends.

  10. UI/UX Awareness: A strong understanding of user interface and user experience principles, with a focus on delivering intuitive, visually appealing, and accessible web interfaces.
