Position: Senior Business Process Improvement Consultant
Location: Laurel, MD
Duration: 6 months
Background:
WSSC Water is in the middle of a major technology transformation. To this end, WSSC Water is in the process of decommissioning legacy systems and deploying robust enterprise solutions to assist with meeting the mission of WSSC Water. In WSSC Water continuous effort to transform how WSSC Water conducts business, The Information Technology (IT) Department is seeking opportunities for Project Management and Business Process Improvement. The purpose of this opportunity is to provide business analysis support to WSSC Water IT Governance Division. In addition, to assist with the implementation of a requirements portfolio.
Description:
Conduct Business Process Analysis (BPA)
Elicit, specify and validate requirements
Conduct use case analysis
Create business analysis documentation including use cases, usage scenarios, process flows, data dictionaries, requirements traceability matrices, design documents, and project schedules
Facilitates and leads process discussions, requirements elicitation and validation work sessions, workshops, and workgroups
Elicit, capture, validate and analyze the business process/requirements of stakeholders in assigned lines of-business
Support IT Project Management Office (PMO)
Must have:
(1) Minimum seven years of direct experience as IT Business Analyst
(2) Demonstrated prior Business Process Analysis (BPM) experience
(3) Bachelors’ degree required; higher degree preferred
