Responsibilities:-
The Software Development Engineer In Test will be a key contributor on one of our Agile teams. This position will work as part of a scrum team, applying the "how can I break it" testing mindset, and ensure that we have reliable automated tests wherever possible. They will work closely with other senior engineers to help achieve technical and architecture goals through incremental improvements to our existing web applications in the health care domain. They will model strong team skills during team meetings such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
Responsibilities:
Work as a Software Developer in Test embedded within a team of Senior Software developers
Design testing framework for the application under development, and ensure a high quality and appropriate testing schedule is in place
Undertake significant tools and automation development work, including simulators/mocks, data generators.
Perform manual testing as required
Develop software test cases based on project requirements and technical design
Create automated tests based on organized test plans and cases
Document and communicate test results and defects while providing a level of investigation that includes, but is not limited to, troubleshooting steps, available logs, and an understanding of exceptions.
Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality
Build test infrastructure that fits into our CI infrastructure
Continuously evaluate and improve our testing strategy and execution
Requirements:
BS degree in Computer Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering with two years of relevant work experience, OR 5+ years of relevant experience in software testing or software development
Strong Knowledge of a programming and scripting Languages (Java, Python, JavaScript)
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium Webdriver, TestComplete, TestingWhiz, etc.
Experience testing embedded products running on Embedded Linux/RTOS and/or bare metal
Experience in developing/deploying automated test infrastructure and automated tests
