Title: Scrum Master Duration: 6 Months + Location: Virginia-Arlington Job Description Facilitating an Agile (Scrum) / hybrid process for multiple teams in support of RCMS Removes impediments / barriers between the team and business to help the team deliver sprint commitments and achieve business outcomes Ensure quality in team performance (Definition of "Ready" and Done") Working within established practices, work with program lead to recommend process improvements Coaches Product Owners and Teams in support of continuous improvement Demonstrate understanding of basic Agile principles and importance of Agile software delivery. Demonstrate ability to work with direction as well as to work independently, to find and discover issues and to solve problems with limited guidance in a fast paced, highly visible environment Work with / collaborate with clients to proactively identify, escalate, and address challenges with solutions that leverage agile mindset working within the client's Agile hybrid delivery model Recognize the importance of CMMI in the hybrid SDLC and program adherence to standards to ensure compliance and protect future certification audits Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials. Qualifications Secret Clearance required Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or equivalent certification REQUIRED Experience with an Agile Lifecycle Planning Tool (e.g., Jira, Rally) REQUIRED Support of full SDLC REQUIRED Familiarity with CMMI concepts PREFERRED Experience working with Agile software delivery teams (required Experience working with Scaled Agile teams is preferred. Experience working with an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool. (Rally, JIRA, VersionOne, etc (required Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field; STEM major preferred Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees. U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required. Travel may be required. Ability to work overtime required on occasion. Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
