Business Innovation, Technology, and Security (BITS) is responsible for managing the Department's information technology (IT) providers, including relations with the Governor's Office of Information Technology (OIT). The division serves as the main point of contact for departmental issues involving technology resources and needs. It coordinates activities with the program staff for IT support, operations, maintenance, modernization, and implementation of new IT systems.

HYBRID WORK - 2 days in the office, 3 days working remote

Description of Job:

The ideal candidate will work to further agile transformation efforts through iteratively leading project planning efforts, collaboration with cross-functional teams to define backlogs, sprint content, and key design decisions. They will oversee project budgets, work closely with product owners, conduct necessary ceremonies, facilitate backlog grooming activities, and develop and distribute project or product-related communications.

Proven experience with inspect and adapt activities including system demo, quantitative and qualitative measurement, and the retrospective and problem-solving events.

Strong oral and written communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field (preferred)

Agile certification (s) (preferred)

Minimum of 5-7 years' experience using Agile-tracking tools (Jira, Confluence - a must)
