SAP BASIS Consultant

100% Remote

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant to manage, support, and maintain SAP system landscapes. The consultant will be responsible for system administration, performance tuning, and ensuring high availability and security of SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and administer SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA)
Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Manage user administration, roles, and authorizations
Handle transport management (STMS) across SAP landscapes
Perform kernel upgrades, support packs, and SAP upgrades
Manage SAP HANA database administration (backup, recovery, monitoring)
Ensure system security, patching, and compliance
Coordinate with functional and technical teams for system support
Support system refreshes, client copies, and system copies
Provide on-call and production support as required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of SAP BASIS administration
Experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP HANA
Knowledge of OS (Linux/Unix/Windows) and database concepts
Experience in SAP system installations, upgrades, and migrations
Understanding of SAP security and authorization concepts
Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP BASIS Certification
Experience with S/4HANA conversion or migration projects
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
