SAP Basis Admin

100% Remote

Job Summary:

We are seeking an SAP Basis Administrator responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of SAP systems. The role involves ensuring system availability, performance, security, and smooth operation of the SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems and landscapes
Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Manage SAP transports and system refresh activities
Handle user administration and authorization support
Apply SAP patches, upgrades, and kernel updates
Monitor background jobs, system logs, and work processes
Ensure system security, backup, and recovery procedures
Support database administration activities (basic level)
Coordinate with functional and technical teams
Maintain system documentation and procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong understanding of SAP Basis administration concepts
Experience with SAP system installation and configuration
Knowledge of SAP transport management system (TMS)
Experience in system monitoring and performance tuning
Understanding of user and authorization management
Familiarity with Linux/Unix/Windows environments
Good troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments
Knowledge of SAP HANA administration (basic understanding)
Experience with system upgrades and migrations
SAP Basis certification
Scripting/automation knowledge
