Department/team description:
Product supply (PS) is the supply chain department.
We support the systems and master data governance for PS.
We support cross functional stake holders from project management to supply managers to distribution and logistics teams.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
1 Drives the end-to-end systems strategy and communication with IT, O&I, PS and DP
New functionality design & rollout
Testing
Project Planning
Troubleshooting
Monitors and supports the following functions as Key Users:
Supply Manager
Demand Manager
Deployment Analyst
Master Data
Supports business reporting and advanced analytics:
Green Graph
Daily Dashboards
Supply Trackers
MS Excel or other
Process re-design/enhancements that promote efficiency and information transparency.
Acts as communication focal point for all systems-related topics within PS
Supports special projects as directed by Director, US Supply Chain Management
Supply chain risk assessments
Statistical safety stock/product segmentation
Special ad-hoc projects
Pipeline transparency
Drives Results:
Ensures accountability and consistently achieves results, even under tough circumstances
Coordinating activities to assure project timelines are met and projects are completed with no disruption to normal business activity
Effectively communicating status and changes in projects with key stakeholders
Collaborating with Supply Managers, Demand Managers, Master Data, manufacturing sites and IT to resolve supply chain systems issues
Cultivates Innovation:
Proactively drives process innovation creating new and better ways for the organization to be successful and optimize inventory, service level and cost
Requirements/Preferences Education Requirement(s):
Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years’ supply chain experience or Master’s degree with 6+ years’ supply chain experience.
Experience in consumer products, pharmaceutical or ISO-regulated industry is required.
Background and understanding of supply chain management principles such as (but not limited to) Production Planning, Purchasing, Forecasting, and Logistics
5+ years SAP/APO experience (SD/PP/MM) is required, as well as high competency with MS Office (Excel, Project, and PowerPoint)
Proven results with building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
Is able to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
Is able to paint a compelling picture of the vision and strategy of their projects that motivates others to action.
Strong analytical, organizational, decision making, written and verbal communication and presentation skills to working level as well as executive levels
Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management with internal & external business partners/customers
Preferences:
Greenbelt or APICS certification desired
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required
