Senior Salesforce Developer,

Location - DC area/Remote

Long term contract with our implementation partner.

  • Experience Requirements:
    • 6+ years total Salesforce experience with extensive knowledge in implementing, customizing and maintaining Salesforce solutions.
    • 4+ years of full life cycle implementations
    • 4+ years Apex development
    • 4+ years of Visualforce development
    • 4+ years of experience with web services API integrations
    • 2+ years Lightning development
    • 3+ years Data Migration (Data Loader)
    • 3+ years Reports and Dashboards
    • 3+ years Salesforce integration with other applications
    • 3+ years AppExchange Applications integration
    • 3+ years Documentation (BRS, FRS, Tech Specifications, Training documents)
    • Other Required Experience:
      • Good understanding of cloud computing services such as SAAS, PAAS and IAAS.
      • Extensive experience in user interface development using Visualforce, jQuery, Bootstrap, SLDS and Lightning framework.
      • Highly experienced in writing Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, developing Visual Force pages using standard and custom controllers.
      • Hands on experience in writing batch classes, Schedule Apex, http callouts, dynamic apex, single e-mail methods, mass e-mail methods, test classes, wrapper classes.
      • Hands on experience in building Lightning components, Lightning out and building apps using Lightning framework.
      • Hands on experience in working with webservices integrations, single sign on, OAUTH 2.0, openId Connect etc.
      • Thorough understanding of synchronous and asynchronous execution of Apex.
      • Hands on experience in implementing customer community from scratch including customizing the login pages, controllers etc.
      • Extensive experience in data migration and integration using data loader.
      • Hands on experience in using ETL tools for handling large data volumes.
      • Experience exploring AppExchange applications and integrating them with Salesforce.
      • Highly experienced in deploying various components between different environments using change sets and Force.com IDE.
      • Highly experienced in integrating various Salesforce organizations.
      • Experience in design and implementation of custom objects, custom fields, custom page layouts, workflows, relationships, look-ups, dependent pick lists, work flow alerts, validation rules, approval processes, task automations, custom tabs, report folders, record types, formula fields and email generation according to application requirements.
      • Experience in customizing the following standard objects: Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Cases, Leads, Campaigns, Reports and Dashboards.
      • Proficiency in SFDC administrative tasks related to Profiles, Roles, Users, Reports, and Dashboards.
      • Extensive experience in analyzing business requirements, entity relationships and converting them to Salesforce custom objects, lookup relationships, junction objects, master-detail relationships.
      • Have good working knowledge in querying salesforce.com database using SOQL & SOSL queries and Governor Limits.
      • Extensive knowledge in understanding the post go-live problems faced by organizations using Salesforce.
      • In depth understanding of the sales cloud and service cloud automations using Salesforce.
      • Experience in migrating data from legacy systems to Salesforce using data loader.
      • Proficiency in defining lookup and master-detail relationships on the objects and creation of junction objects to establish connectivity among objects.
      • Excellent communication and inter-personnel skills.
      • Highly flexible and accustomed to work in both large and small group settings, both virtually and in person.
      • Highly passionate for automating business processes using Salesforce.
    • Optional Experience:
      • Thorough understanding of the Salesforce licensing structure and various services offered by Salesforce
      • Proficiency in implementing Live Agent, creating deployments, building pre-chat forms, creating article types and article data migration.
      • Highly experienced in automating Lead and Case Management.
