Position : Mainframe Consultant - COBOL & IDMS :: REMOTE
 
Duration : Contract
 
Job Description:
 
6-8 Years of experience for monitoring IBM and Unisys mainframe
 
·       Technical knowledge of Mainframes (Cobol, CICS) along with IDMS Database.
 
·       Perform weekly backups on all Mainframe systems.
 
·       Perform nightly checks to ensure all database stability on Windows, Unix and Linux servers.
 
·       Good Communication skills, Coordinate conference calls with technical support and outside vendors.
 
·       Provide Tier-1 hardware and application support. Work directly with vendors and customers for the support of Mainframe
 
·       Monitor and execute batch processing on multiple OS platforms using line commands.
