Job Description
Experienced Database engineer, with hands on experience with Snowflake, to work on public cloud projects on Azure and AWS in a global financial organization. This role requires a strong combination of Snowflake knowledge combined with developer and cloud infrastructure knowledge and experience.
Primary responsibilities
Work in a globally distributed team to provide robustpublic Cloud solutions on Snowflake
Design and deploy compliant infrastructure to integrate snowflake with the required Brokerage controls.
Collaborate with IT Security to ensure necessary controls to Cloud services are deployed and tested
Design, optimize and document the operational aspects in supporting the snowflake cloud platform
Required Skills
Hands on experience withSnowflake is a MUST!
Strong development skills inPython
Hands-on experience withAzure and/or AWS designand implementation
Experience with Agile and DevOps concepts
Strong communication and written skills
Knowledge of security (SAML, SCIM, OAuth, OpenID, Kerberos, Policies, entitlements etc
Experience with architecting and maintaining high availability production systems
Developing monitoring architecture and implementing monitoring agents, dashboards, escalations and alerts
Desired Skills
Experience in Terraform, Chef, Puppet automation / orchestration (or similar)
Knowledge of security controls for the Public cloud ( encryption of data in motion/rest and key management )
Knowledge of Linux and Windows containers
