 The Technical Product Manager will advocate for the customer. Using your excellent product instincts, passion for creating great experiences, a data-influenced mindset, and design thinking to challenge the status quo. The TPM works with Architects and various technology teams to design and build an integrations and API strategy and roadmap that will support client and partner solutions and implementations. As the Technical Product Manager, you will utilize not only your API and integrations design and development experience you will be responsible for planning, delegating, and executing numerous integration initiatives with enterprise Fortune 500 companies. You provide key requirements and support to the product and development teams by facilitating investigation, analysis, review and documentation of business features and functionality in Avetta’s suite of products. The Technical Product Manager will execute the company’s vision by managing the product roadmap and executing releases through working with various departments within Avetta.  




  • Develop a strategic plan and roadmap on how to embed Avetta solutions into the daily business and IT operations of Avetta clients and partners through API and integration automation.  
  • Help develop an integrations marketplace, where clients and partners can leverage pre-built connections in a future app store.  
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, evaluate, identify and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth 
  • Represent the customer in all things. Be the champion and voice of customers. Bring the customer's voice into everything you do. 
  • Seamlessly closes the communication gap with engineers’ and cross functional teams such as sales, marketing and ultimately the customer. 
  • Drives innovation through an understanding and experience with tech trends, SaaS, API frameworks, standard data protocols, Mobile frameworks, SSO, API gateways, Data Lifecycle Management, Azure, AWS, GCP and BI tools. 
  • Define API products and enterprise integrations, and proactively identify and address strategic issues that might impede the product roadmap 
  • Drive data-driven clarity to how customers and partners use existing API products, and develop defensible positions on modernization and lifecycle management 
  • Drive go-to-market approaches and adoption of Avetta’s API and integration products 
  • Work with Architect to specify design, performance and security standards that all contributing teams need to adhere to including core shared functions like authentication, rate limiting, logging 
  • Work towards identifying and closing potential security Identity gaps within our applications 
  • Distinguish between the platform’s core interaction and its enablers and qualify how the API/service delivers value from a product perspective.  
  • Establish a process for adding and certifying new API endpoints 
  • Prioritize the most impactful integrations functionality 
  • Drive usage and adoption across our customer base 
  • Have a ‘Platform first’ or ‘API first’ kind of point of view. Educate and champion APIs with internal and external customers. 
  • Work with PMs, technical writing, engineering to define information architecture and documentation as it relates to API build 
  • Manage, prepare, and respond to audit and regulatory inquires on a timely basis 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for internal teams that have product questions, feature requests, and other product related needs related to API, SSO and RFPs 
  • Is grounded with technical leadership skills in order to improve prioritization and planning 



  • 5+ years of enterprise/commercial product development or technical professional services experience, including 3 years in product management working on agile web or mobile products or services. This role requires experience. 
  • Experienced Scrum Product Owner or Technical Product Manager, working with Agile Delivery Teams, utilizing Agile / Scrum / Kanban. 
  • You have a deep understanding of web service technologies, user interface/interaction, batch systems, and knowledge of systems development and project management life cycles 
  • Experience in API Products like Azure API Management, Mulesoft or similar platform in designing API facades, and designing and implementing API Proxies, and Developer portals 
  • Good knowledge on design principles and best practices in implementing RESTful APIs 
  • Strong knowledge in API Modelling languages and annotation (YAML, Swagger, RAML) 
  • Good understanding of application security, compliance, authentication/authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments 
  • You’re experienced administering a single sign on solutions 
  • Leadership DNA – proven ability to set a product vision, excite, and lead a cross-functional team to execute 
  • Creative and analytical thinker who thrives on solving challenging problems 
  • Understanding of business strategy and metrics 
  • Obsessively customer-driven with strong customer discovery and problem validation skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence as well as collaborate and negotiate with key stakeholders and executives 
  • Experience with reporting and analyzing key metrics and incorporating them into decision- making processes 
  • Experience using Jira or similar ticketing system to manage product backlogs 
  • Experience using Confluence to build wiki and display reports 
  • Exposure to or familiarity with an Agile or Scrum based methodology 
  • Highly effective communication, presentation, and facilitation skills 
  • You are self–motivated and able to take ownership of a project from start to finish
