Senior BI/Data Engineer (Power BI, Azure App Insights, KQL, and SQL)
100% Remote CST HOURS
Core Skills Needed:

PowerBI, KQL, Azure App Insights, Strong SQL (queries/tuning/performance improvement). Working with real-time high frequency data up to the second, and is refreshing in App Insights as the data is coming from users using the BPMe App.
This team will be working with all of the US BPMe feature teams and third parties (POS, etc.) to help build an alerting mechanism and dashboard for all of the different user journey's (they've identified around 30 so far). They need this team to go work with all of the teams that impact the BPME app and understand the data flows. Once that happens, they will help migrate the data into the data hub.

Senior BI Engineer/Data Analyst

Qualifications

5-7+ years of experience in a data analysis, business intelligence and/or data engineering related role
Expert level knowledge of SQL
Expertise with Azure and SQL queries, KQL (SQL), Power BI capabilities, Oracle, Excel, Microsoft Office Tools
Experience with Data Analysis and Visualization of Power BI Dashboards
Demonstrated familiarity with structuring and developing ETL pipelines
Aptitude in problem solving, including the ability to logically structure an appropriate analytical framework
Ability to interface and communicate effectively with corporate management and all other functions in the Company

The role requires an individual who has built end-to-end business intelligence (BI) solutions and
is highly motivated to take the responsibility for BI solutions from conception through to successful delivery
The BI expert will engage with multiple stakeholders within the organization to collect, organize,
analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with unparalleled attention to detail and accuracy
A natural self-starter, you have a passion for using data to drive business decisions, are comfortable
with data mining and visualization techniques, and are at home partnering with end users to deliver solutions
Prescriptive & Actionable Reporting: deep knowledge of how to design KPIs, diagnostic metrics and benchmarks,
including how to set effective targets to drive optimal outcomes
Develop and articulate data stories and show them to your stakeholders
Analyze external data sources like Microsoft AppInsights and Oracle to integrate with existing datasets and
relate a comprehensive BI story
Build compelling, interactive, and actionable reporting on top of structured data models that help in
deriving meaningful business insights from large, complex datasets
Support the full BI lifecycle from requirements analysis through design & development, and through
release and support/maintenance phases
