Overview:
Join our dynamic Mortgage Tech Company as a Project Management Office (PMO) Contractor, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing project management processes. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards. This is a contract position with the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organizations success.


Responsibilities:

  1. Project Governance:
    • Establish and maintain project governance structures.
    • Ensure adherence to project management policies, procedures, and best practices.
    • Facilitate project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure phases.
  2. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Develop and maintain project dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
    • Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators.
    • Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  3. Resource Management:
    • Collaborate with project managers to allocate resources effectively.
    • Monitor resource utilization and identify potential bottlenecks.
    • Support capacity planning and resource forecasting efforts.
  4. Risk and Issue Management:
    • Identify and assess project risks and issues.
    • Develop risk mitigation and issue resolution strategies.
    • Ensure timely escalation of critical issues to appropriate stakeholders.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and oversee quality management processes.
    • Work with project teams to define and measure project success criteria.
    • Conduct regular project audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  6. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders.
    • Ensure that project objectives and deliverables are clearly communicated.
    • Address and resolve stakeholder concerns in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management and PMO roles within the mortgage or financial technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage processes and technology solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software.

Preferred Skills:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Familiarity with mortgage industry regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work independently.
