Job Title : Oracle Database Administrator
On behalf of our client, Procom Services is currently looking for a Oracle Database Administrator for a 12 month contract starting remote with intentions to be on-site in Mt. Laurel eventually.
Job Description :
As a member of the SCO Database - Oracle, you will be responsible for technical support for all the environments (prod and non-prod) for all technologies managed by the team. Specific focus will be around the distributed Database Management Systems administrations, primarily Oracle Server, managing availability, data integrity, and security of the database servers.
Oracle Database Administrator Required Skills:
MUST HAVE:
* 10 years solid hands on experience with installation, configuration, and management of Oracle databases (versions: 11g, 12c and 19c)
* Expert level knowledge of OEL (Oracle Enterprise Linux)
* Expert level knowledge of Finance industries compliance requirements such as SOX, PCI DSS, FISMA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and FATCA.
* Strong knowledge of Oracle and other database in a cloud environment
* Oracle golden gate
* Oracle RAC cluster
* Oracle Performance and tuning
* Oracle Data guard - DB replication
NICE TO HAVE:
* Oracle cloud at customer
* Oracle Exadata appliance
* PostgreSQL
* IBM-IIDR database Replication
The following qualifications are considered as assets:
Experience with Storage Area Networks (SAN
Familiarity with the CA-7/Autosys enterprise batch scheduling solution
Knowledge of Open source Non-Relational Databases
Familiarity with ETL solutions
Experience with System/Project development life cycle.
Experience with UNIX/LINUX Server operating systems
Familiarity with DBMS capacity management solutions
Oracle Database Administrator Assignment Length : 12 months likely extensions
