Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the end-to-end development process of our web portals and data infrastructure services, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and technical specifications.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust frontend and backend solutions using Angular, Angular Material, RxJS, Sass, Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework.
Implement and integrate third-party APIs and services, such as Twilio, AWS SNS, AWS SES, and AWS SQS, to enhance functionality and improve user experience.
Utilize PostgreSQL as the primary database for data storage and retrieval.
Work with Tableau for business intelligence and data visualization requirements.
Ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards through code reviews, testing, and debugging.
Optimize application performance and scalability by identifying and addressing bottlenecks and implementing efficient caching mechanisms.
Collaborate with DevOps engineers to deploy and maintain applications on AWS using EKS, EC2, VPC, S3, Athena, Lambda, and other relevant services.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (Masters preferred)
Minimum 5 years of Full Stack Development experience
Strong proficiency in Angular, Angular Material, RxJS, Sass, Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, AWS services (EKS, EC2, VPC, S3, Athena, Lambda), and Docker
Knowledge of data integration, storage, analysis, and visualization
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
