MNsure is replacing its core legacy IT platform, the Minnesota Eligibility Technology System (METS), with an upgraded technology system that supports eligibility and enrollment for Minnesotans seeking private health plan coverage through MNsure. MNsure is seeking two (2) full-time resources to work on designing, developing, and delivering MNsure's IT Modernization solution.
At a high level, the resource(s) will serve as business analysts and project coordinators, working closely with business leadership, project managers, and other IT vendor staff to design, develop, and deliver an IT modernization solution.
Sample Tasks:
· Create project schedule and work plan in collaboration with project managers
· Coordinate communication and decision making between business, technology partners, Federal regulators, and other key stakeholders
· Gather requirements
· Perform gap-fit analysis
· Create and manage Change Requests
· Assist in drafting training and other stakeholder documentation
· Develop and execute user acceptance testing
· Provide knowledge transfer
Minimum Qualifications:
· Seven (7) years’ experience as a Business Analyst
o A master’s degree substitutes for three years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree substitutes for two years, or an associate’s degree substitutes for one year
· Three (3) years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst
· Two (2) engagements lasting a more than six (6) months conducting business analysis for health insurance projects.
Desired Skills:
· Experience with all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
· Lead BA experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Services
· Business Analyst Certification (IIBA certification or equivalent)
Remote or On-Site:
· The work is expected to be done remotely.
· There may be a need for the resource to work onsite on occasion.
