Role: Data and Reporting Analyst / Data Engineer

Qualifications:
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
- 3+ years of experience in analysis, information science, data visualization, or other relevant quantitative field preferred
- Track record of previous experience with creating and developing BI dashboards, excel reports, working with and developing data models
- Power BI and SQL, Microsoft Excel experience are a prerequisite
- Direct experience communicating with stakeholders, delivering projects end-to-end, and working collaboratively to drive improvement in the overall analytical support of Delta operations worldwide
- Must be comfortable working in group and individual settings.
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS):
- Successful candidates will also have familiarity and/or experience with some or all of the following: SAS, R, Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire or other database interface tools and languages
- Experience working with REST APIs, Postman will be beneficial
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, Business/Management, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, or other relevant quantitative field
- Previous experience in reporting and analytics roles
- Previous experience in a Program Management or Program Delivery Organization
- Previous experience and understanding of Agile Delivery Frameworks
Responsibilities:
- Create accountability tools such as scorecards and performance reviews that focus on KPIs that monitor and drive delivery
- Create insightful executive-level and frontline dashboards using data visualization tools
- Locate and extract data from a variety of sources for use in analysis, models, and project development
- Develop and improve automated reports and analyses to support senior divisional leaders and business units
- Understand drivers of the KPIs through various analyses and work closely with the business team to create solutions
- Present findings to business leadership
