Job Role: ETL Informatica Developer

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 12 months

Roles & Responsibilities

* ETL Design of new or changing mappings and workflows with the team and prepares technical specifications
* Creates ETL Mappings, Mapplets, Workflows, Worklets using Informatica PowerCenter 10.x and prepare corresponding documentation
* Performs source system analysis as required
* Implements versioning of the ETL repository and supporting code as necessary
* Develops SQL queries where needed
* Implements best practices and tunes SQL code for optimization
* Maintain and improve already existing code base and processes
* Prepare documentation for further reference

Skills

* 6+ Years of relevant experience
* Very good in Informatica PowerCenter development
* Good Understanding of Oracle Database and very strong in SQL
* Should be good in Shell scripting & Unix commands
* Should be good in ETL Performance Tuning
* Exposure to Basic Java
* Exposure to BI Reporting Tools
* Exposure to scheduling tools like Control-M or any scheduling tools
* Exposure to Hadoop/Spark/Scala
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
