Job Title: Business Analyst
Department: Business Capability Development

This job performs analytical services to design or redesign multiple, integrated system workflow and process mapping to ensure that processes are customer focused, consistent, effective and efficient for multiple lines of insurance – Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage, Long-Term Care, Hospital Indemnity and Life.

Responsibilities:

Performs all system configuration of premium rate increase implementation for Long-Term Care policyholders, such as:
Product and rating system configuration (actuarial rate tables and rating directives)
Testing of premium rate increase implementation
Work with the information technology team to copy data from testing environment to production environments
Implementation of premium rate action
Accurately performs the various policy level benefit change transactions for the LTC insurance product (i.e., any change required in policy with respect to policy benefit quotes and changes, etc by accessing and updating the administrative system within company service level standards
Monitor daily output of premium rate increase notification letters and handle any needed corrections per the guidelines of the company and client
Monitor control reports daily and handle as per the guidelines of the company / client
Collaborate with our client’s actuarial department to perform complex data corrections and policy level data integrity
Provide service and follow-up on LTC insurance questions by researching company records to obtain information requested by customer / client
Maintains working knowledge base of all company products and services.
Complying with company regulations regarding HIPAA, confidentiality, and private health information.
Assist with configuration and testing of premium rate increase notification letter from the creation of the template through printing instructions with vendor
Ability and Flexibility to work overtime as required.
