Join our team as an Enterprise Commercial Payments Data Mart Technical Data Analyst. You'll be a key member of the Embedded Banking Data and API team, focusing on the Enterprise Commercial Payments Data Mart and Banking as a Service APIs. This role centers on the Oracle Exadata-based Data Mart, which
receives transactional data from Core Payment systems through batch/ETL and real-time feeds. Your responsibilities encompass data sourcing, including designing batch/ETL and real-time integrations, optimizing database performance, and troubleshooting. Additionally, you'll contribute to data
consumption by designing solutions for Embedded Banking APIs and reports. Collaborate with various teams, respond to consumer inquiries, and ensure the seamless operation of our systems. Reporting to the ECA Mart Technical Lead, you'll also play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing data dashboards
using tools like Kibana.
To excel in the role of an Enterprise Commercial Payments Data Mart Technical Data Analyst, the following critical skills are essential:
Database Expertise: Proficiency in working with databases, especially Oracle Exadata, along with a strong understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and optimization techniques.
Technical Integration: Ability to design and implement both batch/ETL (Ab Initio) and real-time
(webMethods/Java) integrations, ensuring seamless data flow from core payment systems to the Data Mart.
Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and address issues related to data sourcing, integration, and API performance, ensuring a reliable and efficient system.
API Design and Optimization:
Experience in designing APIs, particularly for Embedded Banking, and improving API performance to meet the requirements of Commercial Clients, Fintech partners, and internal systems.
Required Experience / Skills
- Bachelor???s degree in Computer/Information Science or Information Systems Management or equivalent.
- Technically sound in different database concepts, applications and languages - preferably Oracle/Exadata, SQL, Stored Procs. At least 3 years of experience in this field.
- Knowledge and experience with Commercial Payment products, ie, ACH, Wire, Lockbox, BAI, EDI, etc.
- Knowledge of basic principles of ETL (Ab Initio)
- Experience with DevOps/Continuous Delivery Tools - ie, XL Release, Jenkins, Git, SVN, test automation
- Experience with unit, functional, regression and performance testing
- Attention to details; logical approach to work; ability to prioritize; problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with database design, analytics
- Experience with other programming languages
- Basic understanding/experience with APIs, developer portals; Fintech integrations
- Experience in creating REST API Documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger Specs. Swagger and Yaml, or similar tools
- Experience working on an Agile Team
