RedHat OpenShift Solution Architect

As a Specialist Solutions Architect, you will guide customers in building OCP containers that are scalable, optimally managed, and aligned with our client's business model. You'll need to have a balance of broad technical experience, passion for open source, a thorough understanding of business processes, and the ability to identify and solve issues at the enterprise level.
Primary job responsibilities

  • Gain deep understanding of customers' business and IT environments; collaborate with multiple teams to assess the potential application of OCP Containerization solutions
  • Provide technical support for the development and implementation of complex solutions and services
  • Use your technical expertise to deliver presentations and demonstrations of technology
  • Coordinate technical efforts of other teams, including OCP containerization, support, and professional services specialists
  • Deliver product demos and compelling recommendations that result in the closing of new opportunities
  • Identify, deliver, and lead customer events to increase visibility, demand, and to assist customers in getting workloads onto Red hat OpenShift Container Platform
  • Provide updates on new Red Hat OpenShift capabilities, roadmaps and best practices
  • Help customers evolve from thinking about Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform as infrastructure to business value
  • Help customers to build innovative solutions to improve existing offerings and invent new solutions for your customers Required skill
  • Passion for developing your interpersonal skills and learning new Red Hat and other technologies
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment, frequently interact with other team members and customers, and constantly learn to gain industry insight

Qualifications Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with containers and container management tools like Kubernetes and OpenShift,
  • Experience Container images deploy & release management with Openshift and/or Kubernetes
  • Experience in Openshift / Kubernetes high availability and disaster recovery across data centers
  • Installation, configuration, and development of applications using OpenShift including in a production environment
  • Experience automating tasks, performing deployments, and troubleshooting via tools like Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform
  • Experience in application development with Java development technologies like Spring Boot, WildFly Swarm, Quarkus, or JEE, including Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform, WildFly, Oracle WebLogic, or IBM WebSphere on OpenShift container
  • Experience in continuous integration (CI) or continuous delivery (CD) pipeline development for build, test, and deployment automation using Jenkins, Bamboo, or other CI/CD tools.
  • Experience building demos, presenting, and speaking in front of an audience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a focus on continuous development of technical and soft skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills Applicants for employment


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Java development frameworks like Spring, Netflix OSS, Eclipse Vert.x, or Play and other technologies like Node.js, Ruby, PHP, Go, or .NET development
  • Experience or certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with modern DevOps tools, such as Git, GitHub, and/or Jenkins
