Title: Quality Systems Manager Location: Atlanta Bev Plant 30336 This temporary position is a key role within the QSE Team in Atlanta Beverage Base Plant with responsibility for implementing, monitoring, assessment and the raising of Compliance standards of the plants' integrated management systems including quality, food safety, laboratory, safety, and environmental standards. The successful candidate will strive to ensure quality is built into all key processes through training, validation, and risk assessment of systems, equipment and processes. This role involves working closely with key stakeholders, including 3 PQA associates, to ensure that all Compliance levels are obtained, and all certifications achieved. This is a temporary 6 month STA and flexibility is required. This role is based in Atlanta Beverage Base Plant reports to the QSE Manager. Key Responsibilities: Supports the achievement of all relevant Certifications (ISO certification 9001 (2015), FSSC 22000, ISO 17025, ISO 45001, ISO 14001) Play a key role in the implementation, assessment and improvement of the integrated management systems. Responsible for the maintenance of the site corrective action program, internal audit program, and document control processes. Ensure site quality metrics are reported, tracked, and actioned accordingly Supports validation of new processes and equipment in the plant to ensure compliance to Quality and Food Safety requirements. Support the Compliance drive to develop systems that meet the intent of all relevant regulations / requirements (KORE , Organic Certifications, FDA, etc. ) Support key Operational activities from a Food Safety & Quality point of view - HACCP, PCQI Skill Requirements/Competencies: Good knowledge of GMP, hygiene and food safety requirements (HACCP Food Technology/Chemical/Microbiological/Engineering knowledge and experience desirable. Analytical approach with good problem-solving skills. Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Power Point, SAP Food Safety / Quality / Management System knowledge and experience. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Educational/Professional Experience: Diploma or Degree in a Science or Engineering related discipline. Experience of Quality processes and management systems in the Food Industry Experience of Quality practices and standards.
