Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in mobile application testing to join our team supporting a leading financial client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing mobile apps across platforms, a solid understanding of QA methodologies, and familiarity with financial domain standards and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for mobile applications (iOS and Android).
- Perform functional, regression, usability, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or similar.
- Automate mobile tests using tools such as Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
- Ensure compliance with financial industry standards and security protocols.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8 years of experience in QA, with at least 4 years focused on mobile testing.
- Strong knowledge of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and device testing.
- Experience with mobile automation tools (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of financial applications and regulatory requirements is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Exposure to security testing in financial applications
