Role:QA Analyst Location:Remote (Newport Beach, CA) Duration:6+ month contract (potential to extend) Must haves: Manual QA/Tester 4+ years experience Strong API testing Excellent communication skills Responsibilities: Actively participate in test planning, creation, and execution phases, including functional, integration, and regression testing Collaborate with Scrum teams to incorporate the effective creation of test cases and plans into each sprint cycle Collaborate with lead(s) to implement/maintain manual testing best practices Participate in design and technical discussions On-time delivery of test plan creation, test plan execution, and test results reporting ? Required qualifications: 3+ years relevant experience in a QA Analyst, QA Tester, or similar QA function role Experience testing APIs with Postman Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team of Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts and Quality Assurance teams Working knowledge of common software architectures (web/mobile/API/DB) Experience with the following tools: Rally, qTest, TFS/Azure DevOps, Postman Basic knowledge of databases such as SQL Server or Azure Cosmos DB Driven and passionate about Quality Assurance, Software Development, and Agile methodologies Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms Bhargavi Ankam IT Recruiter Staffing | Thoughtwave Software and Solutions Limited 314 N.
