Key Responsibilities:
- Application & Script Development.
- Design, develop, and maintain Python applications, automation scripts, and data processing workflows.
- Implement scalable and reusable code for ETL, reporting, and analytics use cases.
- Data Integration & Warehousing (OWB)
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB).
- Design, optimize, and monitor data pipelines for efficient data loading and transformation.
- Work with relational databases (Oracle, SQL) to ensure high performance and data integrity.
- Containerization & Orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Deploy, manage, and monitor applications in Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for application and ETL deployments.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance of containerized services.
- Collaboration & Best Practices
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and DevOps teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Programming & Scripting: Strong experience with Python (data processing, APIs, automation).
- ETL & Data Warehousing: Hands-on expertise with Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB), Oracle PL/SQL, and data modeling.
- Kubernetes & Cloud: Experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE, or on-prem).
- Databases: Strong SQL and performance tuning skills.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Docker, Helm, or similar tools.
- Problem Solving: Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
