Brief About the Role

ideal Project Manager is an innovative leader experienced in technical project management with a deep understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile – Scrum, Kanban), relentless focus on the customer, and experience in the data engineering space. Should use individual’s skills to work with customers and stakeholders at all levels of leadership, implement data strategies, and partner across organizations to deliver on commitments. Lead cross-functional agile teams of experienced individuals including on-shore & off-shore resources. Should be capable of working independently and communicating effectively to provide feedback on policies, procedures, processes, and standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage all aspects of the end-to-end project delivery life cycle
• Navigate ambiguity to deliver results
• Maintain project artifacts, drive project delivery governance and collaborate across teams to collect, drive, track and communicate key delivery milestones
• Maintain a roadmap & provide comprehensive project status reporting
• Establish and monitor KPIs and operational metrics
• Identify, understand, and mitigate issues and risks proactively with project teams, business partners, and leadership
• Manage budget, timeline, and scope throughout the course of all assigned projects
• Maintain project information and updates in project planning and management systems
• Champion & drive data governance standards and principles
• Champion DM&E capabilities

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Should have hands on experience in managing SAP/S4 HANA migration projects or similar migration projects
• Ability to smoothly deliver highly complex projects using effective planning, pragmatic approaches, and collaboration, despite obstacles and ambiguity
• Deep knowledge and experience applying agile development techniques to solving business problems, particularly in a product management role or mindset
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to seamlessly communicate with large number of stakeholders/senior management and deliver key messages with attention to detail
• Familiarity with project management tools and techniques including Jira, Confluence, Scrum, Kanban and related technologies
• Familiarity with data management processes and cloud data and analytics technologies
• Strong sense of urgency with a continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to assess a project's scope and the team's ability to execute
• Outcome oriented with the ability to drill down from the big picture to process details
• Ability to communicate objectives, plans, status, and results clearly
• Strong leadership skills and influencer
• Change agent with successful track record of driving adoption of new data / analytics / technology solutions
