Scrum Master
Position Summary
The Scrum Master is responsible for guiding Agile teams through Scrum practices, ensuring efficient delivery, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role acts as a servant leader, facilitating collaboration between development, product, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices.Identify and remove impediments that block team progress.Partner with Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is clear, prioritized, and ready for development.Track sprint progress, team velocity, and deliverables using Agile tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Rally).Promote a culture of transparency, communication, and continuous improvement.Support cross-team coordination and resolve conflicts.Guide teams in adopting Agile/Lean practices to improve quality and delivery speed.Facilitate stakeholder communication and alignment on project goals.Assess team performance and implement strategies to enhance productivity.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with Scrum tools (JIRA, Trello, Azure DevOps).Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.Ability to coach teams and drive Agile maturity.Experience working with cross-functional development teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or equivalent.
Experience with SAFe, Kanban, or DevOps environments.
Background in software development or IT projects
