We are seeking a Project Manager for the Product & Application Security (PAS) Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) team to oversee individual SDL projects. This role involves managing technology projects and requires cross-functional collaboration to meet business goals in a complex environment. The PM is responsible for planning, leading, organizing and motivating project team members to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering projects that provide exceptional business value to our customers. The PM will work with leadership and internal PAS teams to coordinate resources, determine scheduling and identify risks. The PM is expected to be self-motivated, proactive and solution-oriented. The PM is also expected to set and manage deadlines, project scope, assign responsibilities and monitor/summarize progress of projects and prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project and work.
Key Responsibilities:
· Organizes, coordinates, and directs all program planning and support activities.
· Develops and documents project parameters including scope, schedule, resources and specifications.
· Creates, updates, monitors and adjust as needed to project plans.
· Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
· Interacts with upper management regarding program status and issues.
· Manages stakeholder expectations, including customer inclusion in technical matters, identifying gaps, and resolving impediments.
· Contributes to ongoing improvement of processes to allow for smooth execution of projects and improved efficiencies across departments and project team members.
· Conducts and leads status meetings regularly with customers and internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring thorough communication at all stages of the project.
· Communicates proactively with customers & 3rd party vendors on recommendations, risks, challenges, and solutions.
· Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments and progress.
· Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
· Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
· Encourage, train and reinforce team members on agile practices, culture and norms.
· Assist Product Owner with planning and grooming activities. Maintain integrity, hygiene, and accuracy of the Product Backlog
· Identify and take charge in removing internal and external impediments so that the team can deliver continuously.
Essential Requirements:
· Bachelor''s degree in computer science, information technology, business or a related field
· Project Management Professional (PMP) with 4+ Years of project management experience
· Ability to prioritize projects, tasks and deliverables and manage dynamic priorities
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Organized and able to manage a wide range of projects and priorities
· Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills
· Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
· Results-driven and accountability-minded
· Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
· Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
· Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
· Ability to drive cross-organizational initiatives through the influencing of and negotiation with stakeholders who at times may hold competing priorities
Desired Requirements:
· 2+ years of related experience in Product & Application Security and/or Cyber Security
· Experience in Secure Development Lifecycle
· Experience dealing with different global regions
· Experience with Atlassian products (Confluence and JIRA)
