Product Manager II
Location: Minneapolis, MN - Local Candidates to Minneapolis, Atlanta or Seattle preferred - Hybrid Scheduled
Duration: One-Year Contract
MOI: Skype
Technical Product Manager ll (Machine learning and Data Analysis)
PS: Local project experience is a plus!
Basic Qualifications
• Proven experience (3 years) in technical product management, preferably in online recommendation systems or related fields.
• Strong understanding of recommendation algorithms, machine learning, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in utilizing data analysis tools and methodologies to derive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, Operations Research or related) or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience managing/tracking agile development over JIRA boards.
• Ability to effectively communicate deep technical information to a wide spectrum of cross-functional teams and leadership.
Preferred qualifications:
• BA or master's degree
• 2+ years’ experience working with machine learning engineers, scientists, data engineers and technical stakeholders.
• 2+ years of experience with database languages (SQL, PL/SQL, PG-PL/SQL), version control (Git), data structures and algorithms.
• Product management experience in tech industry.
• 4+ years of related experience
• Experience leading Client product design and development over GCP or AWS.
Interview Process Overview:
• Hiring manager to review top candidates
• Top candidates have interview with hiring manager to filter down to further top candidates
• Further top candidates have panel interview with team members
• Final interviews as needed to confirm the best fit (our intent is to move fast but be cautious about filling the role with the right candidate).
