Remote Option:-No( (Candidate need to join at client location from Day1, remote option is not available) Rate Location: Irving, TX Job Title:- Process Engineer-Supports the manufacturing operation with the timely purchase/delivery of raw material supplies Job details:- Position Summary: Supports the manufacturing operation with the timely purchase/delivery of raw material supplies to maintain the monthly MPS build schedule. Responsibilities: Professional correspondence with suppliers. Proficiency in preparing summary documents for an upper management level audience. Aids in invoice reconciliation. Coordinates activities involved with procuring goods and services for the organization. Reviews inventory, requirements, safety stock, usage, open orders and lead times to assure product is available to support the operations of the plant. Confers with suppliers to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, lead time, and delivery. Prepares formal request for quotation packages and bid packages. Reviews and processes purchase requisitions. Assures compliance with regulatory controls by fully understanding company and departmental DOP's and SOP's. Monitor vendor performance through KPIs and provide feedback to supplier. Review and establish material and inventory requirements necessary to meet sales demand. Maintain effective and efficient inventory supply. Ensure contract compliance. Interface with QA personnel, management, customers, vendors regarding defective or unacceptable goods or services to determine source of trouble and initiate required corrective actions. Refresh and publish daily departmental reporting, i.e. Backorder, Schedule Attainment, and Inventory. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university or equivalent. Five years related experience or equivalent combination education and experience. 1-3 years procurement/sourcing experience preferred 1-3 years of Materials, Supply Chain, Engineering or Supplier Quality experience is required.
