JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: Principle Java Software Engineer

Location: Jersey City, NJ

W2 Contract only

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Equivalent.
  • You have the expertise and experience in designing complex network of microservices which can handle high TPS traffic with low latency. This experience is critical as the microservices our group will be building, process millions of transactions daily for a business-critical application.
  • You are a championed experienced with a variety of modern programming languages and frameworks. 6+ years of experience working with Java, Oracle, Kubernetes, AWS is expected for this role.
  • You have a passion for technology and can navigate your way across complex and rapidly changing landscapes by staying on top of the latest trends and thrive by sharing knowledge.
  • You have Mainframe expertise to understand and extract the legacy rules for modernization of the system
  • You have hands-on experience leading or mentoring scrum teams focused on building software solutions for business critical, architecturally distributed experiences. The teams you have worked with have multi-functional responsibilities such as engineering, quality, devops and release implementation.
  • You are a creator, a doer, and a disruptor who will help us solve problems and meet customer needs. You'll be helping us build solutions by taking an idea, and creating rapid prototypes, learning from real-time feedback.
  • You understand our cycle time and use CI/CD practices, tools to rapidly deploy changes to production while minimizing risk.
  • Have strong communication skills and technical expertise to drive and participate in significant discussions with partners across business roles and skillsets.
