Job Title: Sr. PowerBI Developer
Location : REMOTE  ( can consider candidates from CANADA willing to work in US times ) 
Duration : 6 months Renewable contract  
Visa : USC/GC/H1b/H4EAD 
Experience range : 10 years 
Keyskills to reflect in the resume : PowerBI, Data modelling,BI Dashboards,ETL  ( Background of Azure would be great ) 

Job description:

  • Minimum 10+ years of overall experience required with at least 5 years of professional experience in quantitative analysis, data modeling, reporting, relational database tools, data warehousing, and database architecture.
  • Must have strong experience with PowerBI.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational data models.
  • Proficiency in creating Power BI Dashboards with expertise in DAX functions
  • Power BI development and administration.
  • Building Analysis Services reporting models.
  • Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
  • Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
  • Performing required transformations in Power BI query editor
  • Data modelling capabilities including designing effective BI data models
  • Designing effective layouts using themes and report grids
  • Publishing reports via the Power BI service, managing them through distribution of apps and monitoring usage/data refreshes/security access.
  • Working closely with clients, gathering requirements and transitions
  • Write and optimize SQL stored procedures preferred
  • Experience with ETL transformations, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS is a big plus.
  • Results-driven mentality with a passion for technology and providing superior service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience facilitating discussions, providing stakeholder updates, and highlighting areas of project risk.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, juggling several simultaneous tasks.
