Job Description :
Objective:
Be the subject matter expert to the HARP (Human Resource Payroll Team) in a PUM (PeopleSoft Update Manager) upgrade project from version 23 to version.
Project Tasks:
• The work will focus on converting custom classic pages to Fluid, using drop zones on customized vanilla pages in PeopleSoft to de-customize, help troubleshoot custom COBOL programs and stored procedures
Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to convert custom classic pages to Fluid
• Ability to use Drop Zones to de-customize
• Ability to troubleshoot PeopleSoft Cobol programs and stored procedures
Experience:
• Must have a minimum of Seven (7) years' experience in working with multiple versions of PeopleSoft and People Tools across HCM modules
• Working experience and understanding of PeopleSoft HCM applications (v 9.2 PUM 39 with fluid and Drop Zone technologies) and PeopleSoft Tools (v 8.59)
• Must have implementation, design, and customization experience for PeopleSoft HCM
• Experience in customizing COBOL stored procedures
• Experience in PS COBOL programs and how to customize them
• Programming experience using People Tools, People Code, Application Package, and Application engine, Drop Zones, Event Mapping, Workflow, Integration Broker and SQR
• Experience in creating/modifying data conversion scripts
• Must be Proficient with SQL and PS/Query for reviewing data, troubleshooting and testing/validating source system data
• Experience developing complex interfaces into legacy and 3rd party systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (i.e., analysis, re-creation and documenting the impact on the system overall)
• Excellent Communications skills (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• Working with an enterprise wide, large scale PeopleSoft implementation
• Experience working within a matrix environment
• Certified in Oracle
