Privileged Account Management (PAM) Policy Administrators Job Descriptions

  Function

  • Implement, Secure and complete technical certification of all environments (production and development) of selected PAM product (either  Beyond Trust Endpoint Privilege Management  Or  Thycotic Privilege Manager , including ServiceNow integration by end of April 2022.
  • Deploy agents to 100% of Synchrony end user computing environment (Windows 10 Laptop/Desktop, Citrix, AWS Workspace, VMWare Horizon, AWS Workspace, AWS Appstream environments and MAC population)
  • Monitor, understand and extract persona admin activity through the PAM product to recommend PAM policies to develop.
  • Develop, test, deploy and maintain PAM policies and personas within the PAM product.
  • Interface with PAM support vendor, Synchrony dependent services teams where support is required.
  • Develop Helpdesk, Deskside Support SOPs for User Troubleshooting.
  • Develop, Maintain and Improve job aids and SOPs for the PAM Policies and PAM Platform
  • Support the Maintenance of PAM product (monitoring, incident, problem, change, request)
  • Participate in On Call Rotation For Critical Incidents Only When Outside of Normal Shift.

  Skillset

  • Hands On Development, Testing and Implementation of PAM Policies and PAM Platform Configurations.
  • Hands On Experience With Maintaining and Implementing Thycotic Privilege Manager or Beyond Trust Endpoint Privilege Manager (EPM)
  • General Understanding of Infrastructure Dependencies To Cloud Platforms (Network, Server, DNS, Firewall, Proxies, WAF).
  • Hands On Experience Working ServiceNow ITIL Processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Configuration Management) and Monitoring Tools (New Relic, Splunk)
  • Hands On Experience With Windows and MAC Laptops/Desktops, VDI (Citrix, VMWare Horizon, AWS Workspace) and Active Directory (Group Policies,  Group and User Administration).
  • Self-Starter that can narrow down areas of focus when troubleshooting an issue and clearly communicate the steps taken and recommended path forward.   Must know when to escalate, if next steps are not clear.
